Here's a screenshot from my latest song, Wavesplitter:
And here's also a screenshot from my other song, Caffeine:Quite simple, but I dont really care.
So I uploaded Retro Kraken about 2, maybe 3 hours ago.
"135 plays, 5 downloads"
WHOAH! I've never gotten numbers that big before, much less only 2 or 3 hours. You guys are killing it! :D
Well, this is old news, I forgot to post about this when it happened.
So, when I had only 3 or 4 songs, I get scouted. (Tell me if that is alot to get scouted)
I tried looking into my messages to get the name of who scouted me, but I could'nt find it. (I think it might be something around the lines of TheLadderMan or something like that. I could be wrong)
But, if you are seeing this, thank you. :)
EDIT: His name is ClimbLadders. special thanks to him.
Yup, I got it on PC.
I love it. Making dubstep is way better because I can finally make proper growls! :D
P.S: My music will sound different ;)
If you have ever listened to my music, you will notice that my dubstep growls, or "laser beam sounding things" sound different than ones made by Serum or Massive. That's because:
1. I dont have Serum or Massive ($$$)
2. My computer is as slow as molases
But there is this feature in FL Studio Mobile that lets you change the pitch waves (please don't correct me on the terms) and makes relly weird sounds. Here's how I make my growls:
Step 1. Get a long cymbal crash
Step 2. Modify the waves so it goes from all the way from the top to all the way to the bottom in a short fragment of time (sometimes I make many of these in one growl to form a fast-paced automatic laser sounding growl)
I arange these growls in different places to make my drops.
Sure, it's mediocre, but it's the best I can do with FL Mobile. FL Mobile is made mainly for trap/hip-hop beats, not dubstep!
If any of you listened to 2-2-5-2 and thought to yourself,
wow, this is mediocre.
Congrats! You are 100% right. I made it a while ago and uploaded it to see how Newground's publishing system works (I'm new here) and kinda for the lolz.
I promise future songs will be better!
